Disabled Children

In 2013, I undertook a period of internship at the Centre for Studies on Inclusive Education (CSIE), where I worked with a dedicated team to promote inclusive education in schools regardless of a child’s age, impairment, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion or beliefs. The internship consisted of a period of researching topics, publishing material, preparing training, campaigning, and responding to consultations. As a result of my time with CSIE, I became particularly interested in the key rights of Disabled children, and their entitlement to an inclusive childhood experience.
